Switzerland!

I have arrived in Switzerland. The air is clean, the mountain peaks are snowy, and the water is tastey!

Since my last post I have spent a fabulous 3 nights in France. One night in Paris (definitely not long enough) and then two nights right outside of Versailles. On Thursday I visited the palace and gardens in Versailles and they are amaaazing. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Paris to take the RER (quick commuter train) to Versailles. I could have stayed in those gardens forever. If I can ever figure out googles picture album thing I will try to post some pictures of it here.

Friday I took a train from Paris to Geneva where I met up with... my parents! Crazy how that happens. They had been planning a trip to Switzerland and France even before I planned my trip to Spain so I decided to meet up with them. My great aunt, Ika, lives here in Switzerland. She is 90 years old but could easily pass as 75. Today Ika, my mom, and I had a great time shopping in Lausanne while my dad read the newspaper at a nearby cafe (because that is something "manly"). Ika had a great time making fun of all the "tacky" gold coloring on the Dolce & Gabbana clothes as well as the heinous designer ski coats that cost about 1300 dollors. Yikes!

Well, it is late here and I need some rest so I will be alive to walk through beautiful lake side vineyards tomorrow....tough life, I know!

How are you doing with the languages in all of these countries? Things are going well here. I'm going to have lunch with Rachel tomorrow.
